True blue

Blue color is generally so complex in its meanings. True blue -I know, you are actually singing Madonna- refers to a loyal and faithful person or relationship, blue as a color that express consistency. But at the same time to be blue in the face is to be full of anger, and blue as an adjective tends to have very negative connotations. I don`t really understand why.

What I know is that I feel very attracted to blue, and I`m quite sure that has a lot to do with the ambiguity of feelings that it inspires.
